Our house is all about Fancy Nancy right now. We are planning a Fancy Nancy birthday party for my daughter Braelyn's 5th birthday. When I'm planning a party I get so consumed, I keep getting ideas and I get so excited! This type of party is right up my alley, I love the girly girl stuff. I ordered the cutest birthday invitations (for FREE from vista print) They have a cute picture of Fancy Nancy and the say "join us for a Birthday Soiree" for "Braelyn's Posh Pink Fancy Nancy party". Of course the invites are all pink & purple. I bought these cute little Hannah Montana trick or treat pocketbooks at walmart for .10 each. (the are plain purple) We will decorate them with boas & gems. They will be part of the "Posh Purse" station. We will have 3 older girls that the younger girls will make "Fancy" with hair bows, boas, ribbons, jewelry etc.. the little girls will all be dressed fancy so we'll do a fashion show with pictures. I will also make the activity book from the Harper Collins website along with the cute name tags. The tables will be decorated fancy with name cards at each seat. We are not going to have a meal, just a couple fancy cookies and of course a very fancy cake. I will probably buy Fancy Nancy dessert plates and napkins then I'll use plain pink cups and forks. I'm going to use dark pink tablecloths and I'll cut pretty scrap booking paper into circles and lay them all over the table. It is a lot of fun planning it, I'm more excited than Braelyn is. (just kidding) She is so excited, it is hard for her to understand it is a month away. If you haven't heard of "Fancy Nancy" she is the character in a book series and she likes everything "fancy", very fancy. It is really perfect for little girls.
Well so much for my quiet November with not much going on. I think I actually thrive from chaos. I have a ton of phone calls to make and a house to put back in order (from the kids being home from school yesterday). It really is never ending.
